Every session in Steal Brainrots follows a cycle of accumulation and theft:

1. Buy brainrots— Head to the central red conveyor belt where meme characters march past. Spend cash to purchase one and carry it back to your base.
2. Place on a pillar— Each brainrot you place on a pillar in your base generates passive income (cash per second). Rarer brainrots earn significantly more.
3. Earn passively— Your placed brainrots generate money automatically while you play. The more brainrots you own and the rarer they are, the faster your income grows.
4. Steal from rivals— Explore the map, find a player whose base is unlocked, sneak in, grab a brainrot off their pillar, and carry it back to your base. Successfully stolen brainrots transfer permanently to your collection.
5. Defend your base— Lock your base using the lockdown timer, use gear like slaps and traps to knock out intruders, and stay alert for thieves targeting your rarest memes.

Brainrot Rarity Tiers

Every brainrot belongs to a rarity tier that determines its buy price and income generation:

Higher-rarity brainrots appear on the conveyor belt less frequently — Legendary spawns approximately every 5 minutes, Mythic every 15 minutes. Secret-tier brainrots are the rarest and most valuable targets for stealing.

Base Mechanics

You join one of8 baseson a shared map. Your base starts with10 pillar slotsfor placing brainrots. Key base mechanics include:

• Locking— Your base starts locked for 30 seconds when you join. You can relock it for 60 seconds at a time (plus 10 extra seconds per rebirth level). While locked, no one can enter or steal.
• Expanding— A second floor (8 extra slots) unlocks at Rebirth 2, and a third floor (4 slots) unlocks at Rebirth 10, giving a maximum of 22 slots.
• Defending— Use gear like slaps, traps, and the Invisibility Cloak to catch and knock out intruders.

Stealing Mechanics

Stealing is tempting but dangerous:

• Approach an unlocked baseand press E to grab a brainrot off a pillar
• Carry it on your backtoward your own base
• While carrying, you are slowed down, your items are disabled, and the owner is instantly alerted
• If the owner catches you and attacks, you drop the brainrot and it returns to them
• If you make it to your base, the brainrot transfers permanently to your collection

The risk-reward is extreme. Steal a Secret-tier brainrot and your income skyrockets. Get caught and you’ve wasted time while leaving your own base undefended.

Gear and Items

Gear unlocks through rebirths and cash purchases from the Coins Shop:

• Slap($500) — Knockback attack to defend your base or knock out thieves
• Trap($1K) — Freezes intruders for 10 seconds
• Invisibility Cloak($300K, Rebirth 4) — Grants stealth and speed for sneaky raids
• All Seeing Sentry($5M, Rebirth 7) — Auto-attacks intruders at your base

Rebirth System

When you’ve earned enough money and collected specific brainrots, you canrebirth— resetting your cash and brainrot collection in exchange for permanent boosts:

• +1x income multiplier per rebirth
• +10 seconds to your lockdown timer
• +1 base slot (from Rebirth 2 onward)
• Unlocks higher-tier gear

Rebirth requirements escalate: Rebirth 1 needs $1M plus specific brainrots like Trippi Troppi or Tung Tung Sahur. Up to13 rebirth levelsare currently available, with a 14th upcoming.

Fuse Machine

Combine4 brainrotsin the Fuse Machine for a chance at a higher-rarity output. The result is RNG-based — higher-rarity inputs improve your odds. Fusing costs cash and takes 15–90 minutes. Exclusive fused brainrots like Lucky Block are only obtainable through the Fuse Machine.

Mutations and Traits

Brainrots can spawn withmutationsthat multiply their income:

• Rainbow— 10x income

Traitsare additional stackable boosts earned from events, rituals, and weather conditions. Weather traits like Rain (4x), Snow (3x), and Starfall (3.5x) apply when active.

1. Lock Your Base Before Every Raid — Never Leave It Open

The most common beginner mistake is leaving your base unlocked while you go steal from someone else. While you’re raiding, another player is raiding you. Always activate your lockdown timer before leaving your base. The 60-second window gives you enough time for a quick raid and return. After rebirthing, your lock timer extends, giving even longer safety windows.

2. Target Mythic and Secret Brainrots When Stealing — Skip Commons

Stealing a Common brainrot that earns $1/s isn’t worth the risk and time. Focus your raids on bases with visible Mythic, Divine, or Secret brainrots — a single successful steal can multiply your income by thousands. Scout several bases before committing, and target the one with the highest-value brainrot on an accessible pillar.

3. Invest in Traps Early — They Defend While You’re Away

The Trap ($1K) freezes intruders for 10 seconds, giving you time to return or other defenders to react. Placing traps is one of the cheapest and most effective defensive investments in the early game. A single trap can save a Legendary brainrot worth millions in future earnings.

4. Time Your Rebirths Strategically — Don’t Rush Them

Rebirthing resets your entire collection. Don’t rebirth the moment you qualify — first, make sure you’ve maximized your current earnings and saved enough to quickly rebuild. The permanent multiplier and extra slots from rebirthing are powerful, but starting over with $5K and an empty base stalls your progress if you rebirth too early.

5. Use the Fuse Machine for Rarity Upgrades When You Have Duplicate Commons

Four Common brainrots sitting on pillars earning $1/s each total $4/s. Fusing them has a chance to produce a Rare or Epic brainrot worth significantly more. When you have duplicates of low-rarity brainrots, the Fuse Machine is almost always a better use than keeping them placed. Save high-rarity brainrots and only fuse duplicates.

6. Unlock the Invisibility Cloak at Rebirth 4 — It Changes Everything

The Invisibility Cloak grants stealth and a speed boost, making you nearly undetectable during raids. Before Rebirth 4, stealing is risky because owners can see you coming. After unlocking the cloak, successful raids become far more consistent. Prioritize reaching Rebirth 4 as a key progression milestone.

7. Complete Brainrot Sets for 0.5x Global Multipliers
