Building Your Squad

Hero Collection and Upgrades

Heroes are acquired and upgraded throughcard fragments. Collect enough fragments of a specific hero to unlock them, then continue collecting to increase their star level and stats. Focus your fragment resources on your core squad of four rather than spreading them across many heroes — a concentrated, upgraded team outperforms a diluted one.

Pets

Every hero can be paired with acompanion petthat provides combat bonuses and assists during battles. Pets are collectible, upgradeable, and have unique abilities. Pairing the right pet with the right hero unlocks synergies — for example, matching a damage-boosting pet with your primary attacker amplifies their output significantly.

Combat and Ultimate Abilities

Battles play out in a semi-idle format: your heroesauto-attackduring combat, but you manually control theirultimate abilities. When a hero’s energy bar fills up, click their portrait to unleash a powerful skill. Mana and Redeployment

For each enemy unit you kill, you earnmana points. Mana can be spent toredeploy your heroesonto the battlefield, which enhances their stats. This creates a risk-reward cycle: do you redeploy early for a stat boost, or save mana for a critical moment later? Redeployment becomes essential in harder dungeon stages where base stats alone are not enough to survive.

Dungeon Exploration (Rogue-like)

Dungeons are structured as linear stages stacked with monster waves and boss encounters. The rogue-like element comes fromtemporary boosts: after clearing a set of waves, you choose from randomly offered buffs that persist for the rest of that dungeon run. These boosts stack, so a good run with complementary buff choices makes your squad dramatically stronger by the final boss. Poor buff choices leave you underpowered — adaptation and decision-making are just as important as raw hero strength.

Military Advisor Spells

Beyond hero abilities, you have access to amilitary advisorwho provides battlefield spells. These function as emergency tools to turn the tide of unfavorable encounters — use them when a tough boss or wave is about to overwhelm your squad.

Heroes Assemble Tips and Strategies

1. Always include at least one front-liner in your squad.Without a tank absorbing damage at the front, your ranged dealers and supports get hit directly and die fast. Even if your front-liner deals low damage, the survivability they provide for the rest of your team is non-negotiable.
2. Save ultimate abilities for wave transitions and bosses.Burning all four ultimates on a regular monster wave wastes their impact. Hold at least one or two ultimates for the mini-boss or boss at the end of a dungeon stage where the damage spike matters most. Regular waves should be clearable with auto-attacks and one well-timed ultimate.
3. Choose dungeon boosts that synergize with your squad composition.When offered random buffs after clearing waves, pick boosts that amplify your squad’s strongest trait. If your squad is damage-heavy, take attack buffs. If you rely on a healer, take sustain boosts. Stacking complementary buffs creates exponential power by the final boss.
4. Concentrate card fragments on your core four heroes.With 28 heroes available, it is tempting to spread upgrades across many. Resist this. Four fully upgraded heroes with high star levels outperform eight under-leveled ones. Identify your best squad composition early and funnel all fragment resources into those four.
5. Use the military advisor spells as emergency tools, not openers.Advisor spells are your safety net for encounters that go wrong. Firing them at the start of an easy fight wastes a cooldown you might desperately need two waves later against a boss. Keep them in reserve until your squad is genuinely struggling.
6. Match pets to hero roles, not just rarity.A rare pet with abilities that synergize with your hero’s role outperforms a legendary pet with mismatched abilities. Give damage-boosting pets to your main attacker and survivability pets to your front-liner. Role synergy beats rarity every time.
7. Redeploy heroes strategically with mana.Redeploying enhances hero stats, but costs mana earned from kills. In early dungeon waves, accumulate mana without spending. Then redeploy before a boss fight to enter the encounter with boosted stats. Timing your redeployments around difficulty spikes maximizes their value.
