Once deployed, soldiers march automatically toward the enemy base. You choosewhenandwhichunits to send, but they fight on their own once in the field. Timing your deployments — sending waves at the right moment rather than trickling soldiers one at a time — is the core strategic decision in every battle.

Resources

The game uses two resource types:

• Food (meat)— The primary battle resource. It regenerates over time during combat and is spent to deploy units. Displayed on the lower panel.
• Coins— The upgrade currency. Earned from winning battles and used between fights to improve your army and base. Displayed in the top-left corner.

Managing food flow during battle is critical. Deploy too aggressively and you run out of soldiers at a key moment; wait too long and the enemy overwhelms your base first.

• Base health— Increases how much damage your base can absorb before being destroyed.
• Food recovery speed— Makes food regenerate faster during combat, letting you deploy soldiers more frequently.

Win and Lose Conditions

• Win— Destroy the enemy base. Even if enemy soldiers remain, the battle ends once their base falls.
• Lose— Your base is destroyed, or your entire army is eliminated with no food left to deploy reinforcements.

Time Warriors Tips and Strategies

1. Rush the enemy base early, not their soldiers.Your objective is to destroy the base, not kill every enemy unit. In early levels like the Stone Age, deploying a wave of soldiers directly toward the enemy base before they can build defenses is often the fastest path to victory. Ignore individual enemy troops and push straight for the structure.
2. Stockpile food before deploying in waves.Sending one soldier at a time is inefficient — they get picked off before reaching the base. Wait until you have 6–9 food, then deploy 2–3 soldiers simultaneously as a wave. A concentrated push overwhelms enemy defenses far more effectively than a slow trickle.
3. Upgrade food recovery speed first.Faster food regeneration means more soldiers deployed per battle. This upgrade has a compounding effect — it benefits every single fight going forward. Prioritize it over base health in early levels when enemies are still weak.
4. Invest in the grindstone for damage upgrades before pushing harder eras.When enemies start surviving longer (Farm Age onward), your soldiers need to deal more damage per hit.
