You play as a fox warrior battling waves of demons across hundreds of stages, with a boss fight every 10 waves. The game blends real-time hack-and-slash combat with deep idle mechanics — your hero fights and earns resources even when you are offline.

Your job is to manage upgrades, time powerful abilities, and push through progressively harder stages. Tailed Demon Slayer uses simple click/tap controls: No keyboard controls are needed. The game is fully playable with one-handed mouse or touch input.

The game is divided into numbered stages. Each stage sends waves of demon enemies at your hero. After every 10 waves, you face a boss. Defeating the boss advances you to the next level.

If you fail to beat the boss within its time limit, you stay on the current level and continue fighting regular demons to earn resources for upgrades. You can manually summon the boss again when you feel ready. You unlock Auto Mode at stage 5.

When enabled, your hero automatically uses skills and fights without your input. Auto mode uses your skills faster than manual play, making it more efficient for farming resources. Use manual control when you want to save a powerful ability for a specific boss encounter.

Your hero can wield four weapon types simultaneously, divided by range: You equip three weapons at a time in the original game, or up to four depending on progression. Each weapon has its own skill set and mastery tree.

Using a weapon increases its proficiency, making it permanently stronger. Focus your upgrades on your preferred weapon loadout rather than spreading resources across all six. Upgrade stats using gold earned from slaying demons.
