Scoring System

Crazy Drift Tips and Strategies

1. Use the handbrake to initiate every drift, then release and steer to maintain it.Tap Space as you enter a corner to break the rear tires loose, then immediately release the handbrake and control the drift angle with steering input and throttle. Holding the handbrake too long kills your speed and shortens the drift. The goal is a quick snap into the slide followed by smooth control.
2. Activate NOS before a long sweeping corner, not mid-drift.Using NOS at the entry point of a wide turn gives your drift maximum speed and distance. Activating it mid-slide can destabilize your angle and cause a spinout. Time it so the speed boost carries you through the entire curve.
3. Do not let the multiplier get greedy — bank your points by ending drifts cleanly.A high multiplier that gets canceled by a wall hit earns you zero. If you are approaching an obstacle or tight section, straighten out briefly to bank the current score, then initiate a new drift immediately after. Two medium-scoring drifts are worth more than one massive drift that fails.
