How to Play BasketBros

Basic Controls

BasketBros supports two players on one keyboard:

Player 1:

Shooting and Dunking

Press the jump key to leap. While airborne, press the jump key a second time to release your shot. Shot type depends on court position:

• Under the basket— Dunk or tip dunk off a rebound
• Mid-range— Jump shot
• Beyond the three-point line— Three-pointer

Timing the second tap at the peak of your jump produces the most accurate shot. Pressing too early or too late results in a miss.

Offense and Defense

On offense, drive toward the basket and execute the jump-shoot combo. On defense, press G (or L / Space / Enter) to physically attack your opponent — this steals the ball, blocks shots, or knocks them to the ground. Aggressive physical play is the core defensive strategy, not careful positioning.

4. Camp under the rim for tip dunks.After a missed shot, the ball bounces off the rim. Position yourself directly under the basket and time your jump to tip-dunk the rebound. Most players ignore rebounds — exploiting them is easy points.
5. Match your character to your playstyle.Zane Willow has high jump stats for aggressive dunking. Steph Flurry excels at three-pointers with better shooting accuracy. Test different characters in Quick Match before committing in Franchise Mode.
